Licences
The licence attached to a specific software release, dataset, figure or document controls its reuse.

No site-wide open-source or content licence is granted by this page. Each public release must carry an owner-approved licence and scope; material without one remains all rights reserved except where law permits otherwise.
Software
Only software explicitly selected for public release should appear in the public catalogue. Its release page must identify the repository, version or commit, licence and any notice or attribution file that applies.
OpenDeco content
Written content, original figures and other site material may be reused only under the licence shown on the item or release. A proposed licence is not a grant.
Datasets
Dataset records must state the source licence, version, access conditions, attribution requirements and whether redistribution or modification is permitted. Access to a file does not by itself grant a right to redistribute it.
Derived artifacts inherit source restrictions unless a recorded rights review permits the specific form of release.
Third-party material
Third-party code, data, images, figures and documents retain their original licences and source conditions. OpenDeco does not extend or replace rights it does not hold.
Attribution and citation
Released research artifacts should include a citation for the exact version used. Scientific citation is separate from any legal attribution requirement in the applicable licence.
